At the end of each time period is a section called Relics
which highlights interesting objects from our past that
can be seen in London, and particularly Hackney, and which
museums you can see them in. It is hoped
users will continue their learning in this way.
In addition we have developed two areas of the site;
Victorian Hackney and Homes Through Time for family
learning. These areas include suggestions for further
learning through worksheets and visits, and also each have
an interactive game which reinforces what has been learnt
in a fun way.
Forum – this is an area where people can share
memories with other people interested in
Hackney’s history, or ask questions
to other users. Perhaps you are researching your family
history or can resolve someone else’s question. Maybe
you know of a web site you think maybe of interest to other
users.
